Woven Serving Charger

Made in an ethical, fair-trade environment and rooted in local tradition, this sisal trivet plate was handwoven by groups of women in small communities across Rwanda. Each textural piece features a loop for hanging when not in use. Every piece includes a tag describing the weaver and what creating this art means to her.

In collaboration with All Across Africa, these artisans are empowered to pay school fees, gain access to safe housing, food, and healthcare, and save for their future and family.
